I am unsure where I should place my goal for this semester, thus I will place it here in the time being. I have always been interested in any technology that revolved around making a movie. However, the ones we have listed for our brainstorm are iMovie. I don't have an Apple. Thus, my first personal goal is to find other similar programs - ones to which I can use on my PC. I know nothing about Prezi, but I would be interested to learn about it more and finally, I absolutely love photo edit programs, LOVE them. My goal then for this class is to find other movie-making programs for a PC and learn the ins and outs of it, check out and learn more about prezi and explore more photo-editing programs to decipher which one is the best/most useful!

Today I completed the SketchUp assignments (a.k.a. "My House" and the JukeBox). I absolutely loved doing the house assingment because it made me think of Sims and how I used to enjoy remodeling the houses on there instead of actually "playing" the game. This is when I decided to make my actual house for a portion of the final project. The JukeBox was a tad more complicated for me, but I think I figured it out :)

MY GOALS.
Project: Logo - Create a wildlife scene using penatminos (60 pts). Project: SketchUp - Create a design of my house (70 pts). Project: Use wiki to showcase my personal learning (70 pts). Project: Search out resources that will be helpful in the teaching of mathematics. Add a list of the best ones to my wikispace and personal favorites to the class wiki page (40 pts).
April 10, 2011 Today I worked on the Excel assignments. They definitely brought back old memories of high school and such. I couldn't remember a lot of it, but doing these activities most surely helped me remember. I had a slight confusion on how to do teh Car Loan assignment, but thanks to MDY I was able to figure it all out!

Today I had to put all my Set times together. They averaged about 265 seconds. Looking over the data I soon realized I did a terrible job at "getting better" at solving the Set problems. I blame my lack of intensity and drive to actually do better (it's not really my thing in all honesty), but it was fun! I will definitely go back, especially bring my friends there and compete with them haha. Hopefully though, it'll be a sure win for me!

Early this morning I managed to finish my SketchUp project, however, my overall file is "too large" to upload. So it is proving difficult. I will figure out this problem tomorrow in class hopefully. I did do a few details inside the house, but no walls, no designation of rooms either. However, I think the overall image of my house turned out fairly well 0 given my resources. I did use two components from Google SketchUp (the car and the tree). They definitely contributed to the overall image.
